Men's Community

Our desire is to proclaim the glory of God to a watching world. We want to see men discipled through the Word of God and active in their faith by loving people, sharing the gospel and teaching others to observe what Jesus commanded in the Bible.


Scheduled throughout the year
Build friendships through shared interests, fun activities and service. Approximately once a month, these opportunities are designed for men to connect more personally with one another. Invite friends and neighbors. Follow the men's Facebook page to get the latest details.

Saturday, June 16, 8am (Rescheduled)
Guys are invited to a community ride on the Three Rivers Park District Dakota Rail Trail. Wayzata to St. Bonifacius is 13 miles (paved). Meet at the trailhead parking lot in west Wayzata (175 Grove Lane). We've planned a rest stop at the St. Boni Bistro. Good working condition bike and helmet recommended. Ride with a friend or at your own pace and distance. Subject to weather conditions. No RSVP.

Sunday, July 15, 3–7pm, Elm Creek Park, Bluebird Picnic Area
Show up as your schedule allows. Bring a lawn game and a chair. Sand volleyball and horseshoe pit available. Dinner is at 5:30pm. Free will offering.

Enjoy a great summer activity, get some exercise and connect with other guys. Watch for details.

Thursday­–Sunday, September 13–16
The beauty of God’s creation in the wilderness and the fellowship of brothers is refreshing to the soul! Join in this tent camping experience for a taste of the Boundary Waters. We'll be in a rustic, Superior National Forest campsite with access to vehicles and day canoe trips into the BWCA. Inexperienced campers are welcome. Limited to 12 men, post high school. Watch for registration details followed by an August planning meeting.

Men's bible Studies

Mondays, October–May, 6:30–8:30pm, Parent/Child Room
Through study, encouragement, service and prayer this group is challenged to better understand and apply the truths from the Bible. 

Wednesdays, September–April, 6:30–8pm, Family Center A1
This an opportunity for men of all ages to gather for the specific purpose of following of Jesus together in community. Practically, this objective is accomplished through prayer, intentional relationships and Bible Study.

Fridays, ongoing, 8am, Sandberg Chapel
This multigenerational group of men digs into studying individual books of the Bible and discussion. Newcomers are welcome. No need to register.

Men & Women's Study

Mondays, September–April, 6:30-8:30pm, Sandberg Chapel
These inductive Bible studies use Kay Arthur’s Precept Upon Precept material. Delve deeply into the Bible through personal study, lecture and group discussion. Studies includes DVD lecture, approximately five hours of intensive weekly homework and group discussion.
